This year’s CALL conference will be held from June 5 to June 8, 2025, at the Edmonton Convention Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.
In addition to the popular Supreme Court and Appellate Courts Updates Sunday panel and the 10-Minute Labour Lawyer, this year’s conference features panels on legislative infringements on the right to strike, pushing back on delay tactics in labour arbitration, the impact of wildfires on workers and communities, advancing rights for 2SLGBTQIA+ people in the workplace, and attacks on the labour movement under the Trump administration.
On Thursday late morning, there is an optional labour history walking tour followed by an optional excursion in the afternoon with River Valley Adventures. That evening there will be a cocktail reception in the ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. Friday evening will feature the run for fun followed by food, drinks and music at the beautiful Art Gallery of Alberta. Be sure not to miss out on the always popular Saturday night dinner and dance, this year with the historic Blatchford Field Air Hangar in Fort Edmonton Park.
While we have planned for and encourage in-person attendance, you can also register to participate online. Please note that all sessions will be streamed between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm Mountain Daylight Time.
